Wine Store

30 - 50 years vine age. All wines are hand-harvested and sorted during harvest, maceration lasts 2 or 3 week. Fermentation takes place in cement tank. Wines are aged on average for 15 months in barrel. No new barrels - barrels are 1 or 2 years old. Wines are not filtered nor fined.

This is extremely ripe and indeed reminds me more of cabernet than pinot with good detail and obvious minerality to the sweet, powerful and sappy flavors that offer real size and weight.

This merlot has a little sweetness that rounds out the taste and brings out the blackberry, raspberry, and vanilla flavors that you can enjoy all year long. This merlot has a full body and can be enjoyed on the rocks or can be chilled.

An excellent balance of fruit and oak make this full-bodied, dry red, ideal with all red meat dishes. Bully Hill’s story begins when Walter joined the Taylor Wine Company as an Executive Vice President.
