This wine is a syrah from the Valtosca vineyard. It was cold macerated before fermentation in small, underground stone tanks under controlled temperatures for 9–12 days. Made from a selection  of 100% Tinto Fino vines (local name for the Tempranillo grape) from some of the oldest vines,  age ranging from 25 – 75 years. Maceration during 28 days with the skins. Fermentation takes place in French Oak barrels and aged during 18 months in new French Allier barrels before being bottled.
