Good-covered red cherry with garnet tones. Powerful and elegant on the nose, excellent and complex expression, ripe fruit, balsamic aromas, aromatic herbs, mineral with spicy notes. Good structure, tasty, rich tannins, good balance for its lively acidity and powerful finish, meaty and aromatic, again highlighting its varietal character, balsamic and mineral.

The winery is located in one of the most traditional winemaking areas in Brinas, La Rioja (two kilometres from Haro). It is set as a stepping stone on a steep slope over the Ebro River at the base of Sierra Cantabria, including wonderful views to Conchas de Haro and Penas de Biliblio. The building was born in a lineal development and it is buried in terraces down to the Ebro, adapted to boundary lines but breaking away from the classic bodega.
