This 50-year-old Tawny was sourced in the eastern reaches of the Douro Valley, location of many of the finest vineyard estates and traditional source of the most long-lasting wines. Prior to blending, the individual wines were aged in Taylor’s cellars in seasoned oak casks specially selected and set aside by the firm’s team of expert coopers.
Beautiful dark berry flavours are complemented by caramel, butterscotch and nuttiness. The wine is well balanced, fresh and fruitful with a lingering finish. Serve chilled before a meal or after a meal with cheese.
With its proper tawny red color, this is an attractively balanced 10-year old, with plenty of fresh fruits as well as wood and almonds. It's delicate, fruity and tastes even better lightly chilled.
Selected Cabernet Franc grapes are aged in small oak barrels for two years to create this deep and hearty vintage Port. Flavors of toffee, chocolate, and ripe cherry make this a perfect after-dinner accompaniment to fruit, dessert, and coffee.
