The wine displays complex, red berry aromas with smoky vanilla notes. On the palate, there's round, warm, and juicy spiced-red-cherry fruit with a velvety character, and ripe tannins are apparent as a firm but pliant structure.
Intense and bright cherry color. Aromas of very ripe fruit, plums, blackberries in compote, and licorice along with pastry and balsamic notes. Hints of spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and balsamic and smoky notes.
Mencia Roble stands out because of its strong fruity character bringing out all the characteristics of the Mencia grape variety. The time it spent in oak barrels accentuates these qualities by providing subtlety, elegance and complexity.
“Viña Ijalba”
Those words had been following us around Rioja like a strange echo. Their name surfaced in nearly every cellar we went to—yet the estate remained mysterious. It didn’t take long before we gave in to temptation and scheduled a visit.
Extraordinary dark cherry red color, intense violet, Mediterranean thyme and cassis aromas joined by notes of cocoa and spice. Full and intense on the palate, with ripe, velvety and elegant tannins. Flavorful and full bodied, with a characteristic, terror-imparted hint of graphite minerality.
A finely tuned Albariño. Brilliantly clean, stony tropical pineapple presents clearly on the nose and palate. Yellow citrus flavors are like a simple, well-constructed melody, balanced and constrained.
Ruby colour. Aromas of red fruits, prunes, cinnamon and blackcurrant leaf. Well-balanced wine with harmonious acidity and soft texture. Excellent accompaniment to roast chicken and grilled red meat dishes. Serving temperature: 16-18°C.

The 2012 Unico Tinto is concentrated, juicy, silky, and well-defined. Notable characteristics included the healthiness, the strong coloring, and very ripe tannins suitable for ageing. An excellent vintage.
A wine of a straw yellow color, clean, bright and with medium intensity. Very expressive on the nose with notes of fresh white flowers and fruit. The passage through the mouth is fresh and persistent, but without losing the balanced acidity typical of Godello.
