This wine has a unique profile due to the seasoned rum barrels used in the aging process. The portion aged in rum barrels imparts aromas of baking spice, nutmeg and toasted marshmallow. The balance of the wine, aged on French and American oak, offers red fruits and boysenberry jam with notes of vanilla. The structure is savory with velvety tannins and a lingering finish.

The 2021 Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a wine of elegance and precision. Exotic, vibrant red fruits and dried flower aromas inform the palate that is vivid and very attractive. This will pair better with light or heartier dishes and although charming now, it will continue to improve over several years.

While it's full-bodied, with some grainy tannins, it's not unapproachable, with a long, dusty-textured finish.

The 2019 Gandona is simply magnificent. A wine of soaring intensity and structure the 2019 marries power richness and depth. Inky dark fruit chocolate black cherry leather and torrefaction all race across the palate. This is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Gewurztraminer from the Grgich family's American Canyon Vineyard, a cool an dwindy site where the grapes ripen late, before the onset of botrytis. It's a beautifully balanced white, scented with notes of honey and brioche.

A classic ice-wine style. Deep golden color, with vibrant, pure fruit aromas of ripe apricot, pineapple, and lychee. The rich, voluptuous mouth feel yields fresh fruit flavors that are full bodied and sweet yet wonderfully fresh and lively due to the balanced acidity. The finish is aromatic and lingering. The fine balance of this wine gives it excellent aging potential.
