The 2021 Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a wine of elegance and precision. Exotic, vibrant red fruits and dried flower aromas inform the palate that is vivid and very attractive. This will pair better with light or heartier dishes and although charming now, it will continue to improve over several years.
The Sanford Rita Hills Pinot Noir is always a blend from both of our estate vineyards: the historic Sanford & Benedict Vineyard (54%) and La Rinconada (46%). These singular vineyards are in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation planted to a wide range of Pinot Noir selections from our marine deposited soil types.
