Light brick red with an amber hue. On the nose there are aromas of rich red fruit, notes of caramel, raisins, and cloves. On the palate, cardamom, spice, butterscotch, and elegant redcurrant are interwoven with attractive, nutty aromas. Smooth and round on the palate, full of luscious strawberry jam flavors with an elegant finish.
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), Tinto Cao, and Tinta Amarela. Bottled by Quinta and Vineyard Bottlers Vinhos, which is owned by The Taylor Fladgate Partnership. The distinguished house of Croft was established over 400 years ago in 1588 by Henry Thompson of York, England. In 1889 the firm acquired and became the proprietor of the famous Quinta da Roeda estate. A rich heritage of skill and experience in aging and blending the very finest ports has been passed down the generations—Croft has been renowned for its ports of distinction for over three hundred years. This heritage ensures that the Croft Reserve Tawny Port is a perfectly crafted example of the tawny style. Drawn from a reserve of the finest ports aged in seasoned oak casks, it is fully mature and ready for immediate enjoyment.
