The 2021 growing season was preceded by mild and dry winter weather from January through March. Brilliant ruby red with purple hues, Sherazade 2022 is characterized by a pleasantly fruity bouquet with aromas of strawberries and blackberries, combined with flowery scents of violets. The entry on the palate is full and fleshy, with mulberry and sour cherry notes, pleasantly refreshed by acidic verve.
Barkan Classic Chardonnay is produced from grapes grown at the winery's vineyards in the center of Israel. The vines yield small crops and ripen early. Hand picked in small containers, the grapes are rushed to the winery to ensure maximum quality.
The Argaman variety, which was developed at the Volcani Institute in Israel, produces wines with deep purple color, and pronounced fresh fruit aroma. The Argaman is a strong growing, vigorous variety. It has been used mainly to improve the color of inexpensive table wines.
Deep garnet red with the classic brick hues of nebbiolo. Warm and pervasive with hints of plum jam, small berries, and a touch of mint in the finish. Intense, full bodied, and well balanced between tannins and acidity with a slight aggressiveness that identifies the personality of the wine.
The color is a beautiful ruby red with violet highlights. Expressive on the nose, with jammy red fruits and soft spices. Particularly silky on the mouth, with very fine grain tannins. This wine also shows a very nice freshness.
Ruby-red color. The fresh fruit aromas are preserved in the nose, together with typical liquorice aromas from the oak. Hints of vanilla. In the mouth good balance. Silky, velvety with good intensity.
