Chateau Holden is an exceptional wine that has been in production since the 16th century. Its soil is mostly gravelly, with a mix of clayey limestone and Oligocene marls. On the nose, it has delectable aromas of vanilla, redcurrants, juicy blackberries, violets, and a hint of Madagascar pepper.
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Syrah- The nose is brimming with aromas of black currants and figs. The grapes have been carefully selected to impart a tightly-knit structure and a pleasant jammy texture. This wine is one of the noble cuvées of the Nadiv range; 18 months of aging in French oak barrels rounds out a wine that is complex and elegant.
Baron Herzog Cabernet Sauvignon is a very approachable wine produced using grapes grown in California's Central Coast region. Each lot of wine was aged separately and all lots were blended before bottling. Displays berry aromas and impressive blackberry and spice flavors.
Baron Herzog Central Coast Merlot grapes are carefully selected to produce a wine with aromas of red cherries, strawberry jam and spice, with a rich mouth feel and finish. Enjoy Baron Herzog Merlot at room temperature with grilled lamb chops or roasted poultry.
Clean. Pale yellow with golden tones, Shiny. Clean with medium strength in the nose. Very fine and fruity. Well balanced in the mouth. Tasteful, with proper sweetness, very mild and fresh. Excellent with persistent loosenig of bubbles.
A gorgeous vintage. A liquorice bomb, nevertheless. Some rose and candied characteristics. Unsurprisingly grippy tannins. Good with oily tomato pesto and ravioli. After giving it some time to breath there's bold cassis and prunes to complement the slightly more toned-down liquorice.
With a beautiful pale gold color and green reflections, this Chablis has a powerful, fresh and floral nose with notes of fresh almond and hazelnut, citrus, and white flowers. The mouth is balanced, minerally, and restrained.
