The eleventh vintage of this wine! Fenaughty Vineyard, at roughly 2800 feet elevation, is located in the Apple Hill District above Placerville, in El Dorado County. The soil at Fenaughty is Aiken-Loam, a dark-red, well-drained soil type of volcanic origin.
Puligny Montrachet Premier Cru "La Truffière" from Domaine Colin is produced in small quantities and has a beautiful upright character and a sublime mineral balance. The premier cru vineyards of La Truffière lie at the top of the hill looking out over the village of Puligny.
