Ruby Port is a traditional style of Port and Fonseca has been shipping Ruby since the company was founded in 1815. Fonseca takes great pride in their Ruby which has remained consistent in quality for over two centuries.
Dow's 30 Years Old Tawny is made exclusively from grapes sourced at "A"classified vineyards (the highest), which includes Dow's Quinta do Bomfim and Quintada Senhora da Ribeira, two of the very best vineyards in the Douro valley. This enviable position is reflected in the excellent quality and consistency of the style evident in Dow's 30Years Old Tawny.
Grapes taken from the best parcels, carefully selected; manual harvest in 15 kg boxes, with cooling of grapes and extraction of the must with a very soft whole grape pressing; fermentation in stainless steel vats and French oak barrels, followed by a rest period of 8 months. At the end of the 8 months rest, during the blend preparation, only a small part of the wine is used, after a second selection of the best barrels or vats which will then compose the final blend.
The Graham’s 2020 Bicentenary Edition Vintage Port is an exceptional bottling. It is drawn from high altitude and north-west facing vines across three of Graham’s four estates – Quinta dos Malvedos, Quinta da Vila Velha, and Quinta do Tua. Typically, a Graham’s Vintage Port blend also comprises Quinta do Vale de Malhadas, a fourth property, far upriver in the remote Douro Superior.
Red colour. Very rich aromas of ripe young fruits. Strong and full-bodied, long and persistent finish.
