Qvevruli Otskhanuri Sapere Red Dry 2018

This red dry wine is made from specially chosen Otshanuri Sapere grapes that are grown in the Imereti region of Western Georgia. This dry red wine has aromas that are typical to its variety with hints of cherry and vanilla. The wine is a ruby color and is aged in oak casks.

Otskhanuri Sapere is viewed as one of Georgia's most seasoned grape assortments and develops for the most part in the Racha­Lechkhumi and Imereti wine areas in Western Georgia. Its name is identified with the town of Otskhana. It signifies "Otskhana's colorful." Otskhanuri Sapere wines have an extreme ruby shade and solidly organized and tannic, with high acidity. The wines age well, topping after 10­-15 years, however, can be cellared for an extra 20-­30 years.
