Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Pinot Noir
This elegant wine is round on the palate, with flavors of berries and cocoa, and a touch of spicy, toasty oak from barrel aging. Pair this velvety, versatile Pinot Noir with pan-roasted salmon, veal chops, or pasta Bolognese.
After harvest the grapes are crushed and fermented the must with a selected yeast strain in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, The young wine finished both primary and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation is complete the wine is aged in French oak from a variety of coppers, which adds a sweet oak spiciness to the flavor. The Woodbridge Pinot Noir is a well-balanced wine with aromas of cherries and orange peels.
