Picconero, a full-bodied blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and petit verdot. Rich, concentrated, and muscular, yet wonderfully balanced with big tannins and deep tiers of cherry, plums, and wild berries, and nuances of spice, vanilla, and licorice.
The lead aromas of black currant, crushed minerals, black cherry and hints of rose hips are followed on the palate with flavors of black currant, soy, hints of roasted plums and beef blood. This will be the longest lived Avoyelles to date.
A fragrant, complex bouquet of ripe blackberry and boysenberry complemented by notes of dark chocolate and toasty oak. Rich and smooth on the palate, the sumptuous dark fruit is balanced by fresh acidity and lush tannins with a lingering, elegant finish and a hint minerality.
Dark, almost inky ruby red in color, with on the nose a powerful attack of sweet and spicy oak with notes of vanilla and cinnamon followed by jammy cherries and cloves.

OSCAR is a special and limited wine series that skillfully unites two prominent grape families, Cabernet and Petit Verdot. The grapes were meticulously hand-harvested from carefully selected sections of the winery’s vineyards in the Judean Hills, ensuring the highest quality.
This limited edition of red wine comprises of 57% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot. The grapes were specially selected and hand-picked to ensure the best quality wine.
A boutique Bordeaux-style blend, rich in flavors. The grapes were carefully selected by hand from a vineyard in the Judean Hills. The wine was aged in fine French oak barrels for 12 months. The wine is full-bodied, rich in fruit aromas, balanced, fleshy, and very enjoyable to drink.
