Gros Family Vineyard Onyx Non-Mevushal 2013

The grapes were sourced from one unique vineyard in the Kadita Plateau in the upper Galilee. The wine is full-bodied with aromas and flavors of black forest fruits, ripe plums, and hints of cedar wood, and herbs. The wine was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.

Israel has been able to trace its wine making roots back to 3000 BC. Modern Technology and Agriculture Including Drip irrigation technology that originated in Israel, is now the standard worldwide. Insulated tanks developed specifically for Israeli climates and agricultural "know how" allows the cultivation of many grape varietals throughout this diverse topographical terroir and growing regions and has made some Israeli wine the most respected and award winning wines on earth.
