This wine is produced from exquisitely balanced grapes grown in Segal's Dishon Vineyard. The vineyard, in the Kadesh Valley in the northern Galilee, is planted on well-drained, dark soil at a height of 430 meters above sea level. Select blocks of the vineyard are densely planted, and strict vineyard management limits the yield, thus intensifying the grapes' natural sugar, acid, and color. Rich tannins enhance the fruit's quality.

The Netofa Tel Qasser Red is a Rhone blend aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. Deep purple in color, fresh blackberries and raspberries on the nose followed by dried violets, lavender as well as hints of grilled meat and black pepper.
This blend of famed Rhone varietal grapes, Syrah and Mourvedre, is grown in Netofa's vineyards in the lower Galilee, near the famous Kerem ben Zimra. This area is well known for having one of the best climates in israel for grape growing.
