This wine is a truly exquisite example of combining the finest winemaking skills with beautifully grown and hand-selected clusters of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Double Creek Vineyard of Chalk Hill Sonoma. Raised in chalky and fast draining white volcanic soil, the vines are sheltered from cool fog by warm and moderating breezes.

Lively and lemony and racy. Remarkably reminiscent of an Hautes-Côtes Blanc. Lovely texture and great freshness. Very good!

As a blend of their best Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard sites, the Estate bottling is one of the most compelling illustrations of the Stonestreet Mountain. They blend this wine with discerning precision, balancing aromatic intrigue, texture and the Mayacamas' signature structural elements into a pure reflection of the vintage.

Lorraine is 100% Syrah from a combination of marine soils with cobbles and sandstone vineyards laced with chalk. This wine always has the reddest fruits of our Syrahs, and the sweetest roundest tannins.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon, which always includes a splash of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, is incredible juice and a wine readers should seek out. Showing the quality and style of the vintage beautifully, it offers a captivating bouquet of crème de cassis, unsmoked tobacco, bouquet garni, and violets, with just a touch of foresty, earthy notes in the background.

Sitting at almost 1,400 feet above the Sonoma Valley, Charlie Smith is the “ying” to the Ritchie “yang.” Primary aromas of fresh zested lemon, jasmine, and tart pippin apple are followed by secondary aromas of chalk, spearmint, and lightly toasted macadamia.
