On the nose, there is strawberry laced with iron, lingonberry and lavender, and the palate finds fresh-toned red fruit in harmony with earthier, more mineral tones. The mouthfeel is pure satin with an integrated acid through-line.
A development by the Miller family, founders of Bien Nacido Vineyards, this fine project adds a new level of refinement to this region. Knowing Vineyard Manager Chris Hammel’s enthusiasm and commitment, they were motivated to select this vineyard. From the first few vintages, wines from this vineyard made by other producers showed great potential and have not disappointed.
