Raised in chalky and fast draining white volcanic soil, the vines are sheltered from cool fog by warm and moderating breezes.
Generation VIII by Herzog Double Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon opens with intense aromas of blackberry compote, espresso and leather. On the palate, rich notes of black cherry, raspberry and dark chocolate with fine-grained tannins and hints of warm vanilla and spice.
