Goldeneye began making premium quality, cool-climate Pinot Noir from our estate winery in the Anderson Valley in 1997. Blending grapes from four estate vineyards, we are dedicated to crafting wines of refinement and elegance from a rich palette of terroir-inspired fruit.
Medium red, a bit darker than the Coteaux Nobles. Less fruity and spicy on the nose today, with the strawberry and cherry aromas currently dominated by mocha, graphite and leather.
The Legan vineyard is a rugged own-rooted planting of Pinot Noir situated at 1,600’ above the tiny community of Coralitos. The hearty vines at Legan are surrounded by the dense Redwood forest of the Southern Santa Cruz Mountains and have been dry farmed since 1980 in deep sandy loam soil.
The color is a deep scarlet-red with lush aromas of blackberry bramble, nutmeg, and a hint of caramel. The wine is fresh and exuberant in the mouth with sumptuous strawberry jam, ripe black cherry, cranberry and warm gingerbread.
North is the new Pinot Noir from the Central Coast Rhone Master John Alban. Extremely limited.

The Mae Estate vineyard is located above Highway 246, the northern corridor of the Sta. Rita Hills. Just fifteen miles from the Pacific Ocean, Mae is host to ocean winds and fog and comprised of marine sedimentary soils.
Bota's Pinot Noir is a gorgeously fruity expression of the romanticized grape. It begins with a sweet bouquet of cherry pie and a hint of savory herbs. It opens to rhubarb, black cherry and clove, followed by a brisk finish.
Pinot Noir from limestone and decomposed granite soils of Enz Vineyard in Lime Kiln Valley (San Benito County). The Enz family has been farming this site since 1967 (the vineyard is also notable for Mourvedre, where the old vines date to 1895).

Dark ruby color. Light to medium bodied with aromas and flavors of raspberry, tart cherry, spice with a touch of earth. Supple and balanced with a smooth finish.
The 2021 Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a wine of elegance and precision. Exotic, vibrant red fruits and dried flower aromas inform the palate that is vivid and very attractive. This will pair better with light or heartier dishes and although charming now, it will continue to improve over several years.
Fog Swept Pinot Noir attains a perfect balance between old and new world styles of Pinot Noir. It has the rich California flavors of bright cherry, pomegranate, and wild strawberries, while preserving the fresh acidity and classic earthiness that is synonymous with Pinot Noir.
