"Monte dei Frati" is a juicy, sapid and mineral white wine based on Vermentino, vinified in steel with maceration on the skins for 48 hours. It has a mineral and Mediterranean bouquet, with notes of fruit, citrus and territorial herbs. On the palate it is tense and fresh, consistent with the sense of smell and persistent.
Ruby red in color, with an intense nose of ripe red berries, and the toasty scent of 12 months in barrel. This wine comes from vineyards on the slopes surrounding Montalcino in Tuscany. The area is known for production of Brunello, a dark-skinned, low-yielding clone of Sangiovese, although the Rosso is made from the fruit of the younger vines, for a lighter style.

Cannonau has been cultivated in Sardinia for centuries according to historical records. This wine comes from the northwestern coast of the region, and showcases a floral nose with hints of ripe strawberries and mediterranean herbs. Best paired with paella Alegherse.

The color is dark ruby-red with purple highlights; nose brimming over with leather, black licorice, coffee and blackberry. This Barbera d’Alba starts out on the palate providing a warm feeling of volume and body, with the fruit blending marvelously with the soft tannins and the acidity, while its finish is long and savory.
This is a blend of Grignolino, Pinot Noir and two ancient native grapes from this area that Fabrizio is helping to revive- a red grape called Slarina and a white called Baratuciat. This is on the lighter side of medium with racy red fruit and spice, perfect with a chill next to anything grilled.
