Bota's Pinot Noir is a gorgeously fruity expression of the romanticized grape. It begins with a sweet bouquet of cherry pie and a hint of savory herbs. It opens to rhubarb, black cherry and clove, followed by a brisk finish.
Over the years, we have been fortunate to work with many great vineyards that span a diverse and varied view into a region that many would call the heartland of California Pinot Noir. Our goal is to create a wine that shows the essence of this iconic appellation.
Dark ruby color. Light to medium bodied with aromas and flavors of raspberry, tart cherry, spice with a touch of earth. Supple and balanced with a smooth finish.
The 2021 Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a wine of elegance and precision. Exotic, vibrant red fruits and dried flower aromas inform the palate that is vivid and very attractive. This will pair better with light or heartier dishes and although charming now, it will continue to improve over several years.
Fog Swept Pinot Noir attains a perfect balance between old and new world styles of Pinot Noir. It has the rich California flavors of bright cherry, pomegranate, and wild strawberries, while preserving the fresh acidity and classic earthiness that is synonymous with Pinot Noir.
On the nose strawberry fields forever, feral and savory with high end notes of sage and spring grass. On the palate under ripe bing cherry and tart cranberry, smoked duck and rhubarb. Savory and long with piercing fruit and mineral.
This Pinot Noir comes from the Petaluma Gap. The Gap is a smaller AVA within Sonoma County and is known for afternoon winds and cool temperatures through much of the growing season.
Oak spice aromas, powerful black-fruit flavors and a firm structure of acid and moderate tannins give this wine a nice heft to help it pair with rich foods.
Porter Creek Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2020 is an approachable and lively wine with vibrant red cherry flavors and hints of savory herbs. Its medium body and elegant balance make it perfect for any occasion.
This Pinot Noir opens with aromatic notes of black cherry and baking spice. The soft, silky palate features bright, fruity notes of cranberry, fig and fresh orange peel, with hints of dark, brambly fruit, black tea and clove.
Bright ripe red cherry, cranberry, and warm silky berry aromas with hints of allspice. The bouquet is rounded out with sweet vanilla and berry flavors, with a balanced and elegant finish.

Pinot Noir is rarely this pure or complex at a such an accessible price point. Thanks to outstanding Sonoma Coast vineyards and a stellar 2022 vintage, we probably crafted this one to be too good!
Grapes for this Pinot Noir come from areas throughout Santa Barbara County, where brilliant sunshine and coastal breezes create wines with complexity and balance.
The 2022 Ten is a darkly colored and substantial wine. It is slow to develop in the glass, ultimately revealing aromas of dark plum, black cherry and currants, along with notes of cedar and a hint of earthiness.
