Ours is not a buttery, oaky Chard. It sees no malolactic fermentation and no oak so you get a dry and bright palate that is fruit forward and built for food. The 2020 Great Sage is crafted from small lots of Cabernet Sauvignon from mountain and hillside vineyards in Northern Napa Valley. Whole berry fermented, cave-aged in 100% French Oak for two years, this wine is bottled unfiltered to retain its natural character.

Tom Hinde focuses this wine on the Morisoli Vineyard, a prime benchland site in Rutherford. The 2018 starts out clean and rich, with sweet black raspberry flavors and bold strokes of oak.

Barefoot Pear Fruitscato has ripe and juicy pear flavors, with hints of white flower aromas, and a lingering, smooth finish.

Our 2021 Mark West Cabernet Sauvignon brims with layers of blueberry and blackberry preserves with hints of spice. Underlying note of toasted vanilla and caramel give the wine an elegance. The finish is rich and smooth with a lingering touch of dark plum.
