Wine Man Ikhalto 2010
This dry, red table wine Ikhalto is made from the saperavi and cabernet franc grape varieties grown in the Kakheti viniculture zone. It has an intense red color, an aroma of berries and plums, and flavor of cow berries and black prunes with a long and pleasant finish. The wine is recommended with roast pork, beef, or strong cheese. Recommended serving temperatures of 60–64 degrees F.
50% Saperavi, 50% Cabernet Franc. Wine Man is a family-owned winery, founded by Alexandre I. Jorjadze in 1998 in Georgia, which has been making high-quality, classic Georgian wines since. Jorjadze comes from a noble dynasty of Kakhetian Dukes who had a significant influence in the development of Georgian wine production. Alexandre's grandfather, Prince Alexandre M. Jorjadze, was a well-known winemaker who had admirers of his wine in Tiflis.
