Jean Paul-Brun is the winemaker and owner of this 40-acre holding in Charnay, just north of Lyons. These are naturally made wines with low alcohol and great purity of fruit, from one of the only top producers at the southern end of the Beaujolais region, where limestone rather than granite dominates. In addition to deliciously light nouveau, there is also a vibrant Beaujolais blanc that displays excellent minerality and cut.
