Bottled by Quinta and Vineyard Bottlers Vinhos, which is owned by The Taylor Fladgate Partnership. Taylor Fladgate is often described as the Rolls-Royce of the port-wine industry. Its ports represent more than three hundred years of tradition that began with the foundation of Taylor, Fladgate, & Yeatman in 1692. However, its true origins lie in the 1670s with Job Bearsley, an English merchant in Minho. Bearsley's initial activities were in the wool trade and the "4XX" logo, originally his woolmark, was branded on bales of wool and later casks of port wine for shipment. To this day this logo is part of Taylor Fladgate's trademark. Three centuries of independent family ownership and experience in producing the finest ports of all styles ensure that Taylor Fladgate's ports continue to be made to the highest standards, combining the best of tradition and innovation. This Fine Tawny has been carefully selected and matured in oak casks.
