Stadlmann Rotgipfler Tagelsteiner 2006
Other Grape | Austria
Since 1780, the Stadlmann family has been producing classic wines made from indigineous grapes of Austria's Thermenregion. Today, Johann Stadlmann VII continues this tradition by creating expressive and dynamic wines. Rotgipfler, one of the oldest and most unique varietals of Austria, is a fresh yet full-bodied, spicy wine.
Bright, deep yellow color. Elegant ripe apple and fresh pear aromas. A fascinating variety of flavors of pome (ripe apple and pear) paired with fine, herbal spices are revealed on the palate. There is a full ripeness combined with a subtle sweetness and the harmonious balance and complexity results in a wonderful composition. Perfect with intensely flavored, spicy cuisine from Pan Asian to Nuevo Latino.
