Alba refers to Quercus Alba, the type of American White Oak that are used to mature A’Bunadh Alba. Coincidently, Alba is also the Scots Gaelic name for Scotland. The English name refers to the light colour of the bark of some species. American Oak trees grow much faster than most European Oak species and can live for hundreds of years.
Rich and Creamy, there are notes of roasted nuts, cereals and dried fruits. Sweet, soft and exceptionally well rounded. Mouthwarming with hints of soft fruits, leather and toffee. Long with a lingering sweetness which fills the mouth.
Tomintoul Tlath is the result of carefully selected casks. Light with some sweet toffee and vanilla and hints of mint leaf and citrus peel. Light and creamy and some oak driven spiciness dance on the tongue with background layers of nutmeg and toasted vanilla.
