The wine has a rich amber color, specific varietal aromas combined with honey notes, and a balanced, harmonic taste. Great as an aperitif over ice or as acomplement to desserts. Best serving temperature is from 54–59 F.
Shalvino was founded in 2008. The company-owned winery is located in the Kardenakhi village, Gurjaani region, Georgia. The winery posesses 74 acres of vineyards in the specific zone—Kardenakhi, on the right bank of the river Alazani, in different microzones, in altitude of 1,280 feet above sea level. The grapes obtained in the owned vineyards are processed in the winery, which is equipped with the newest machine installation of Italian origin.
