Schmitt Söhne Piesporter Michelsberg Kabinett 2011
Riesling | Germany
A medium-bodied wine with upfront fruit that continues to develop on the palate. Made from Riesling and Müller-Thurgau grapes, hints of peaches and green apples are balanced perfectly with crisp acidity to provide a clean and fresh finish.
Over 200 years ago the Schmitt ancestors settled in the small village of Longuich, located along the Mosel River in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wine region, and began managing vineyards and producing wine. Now in the 4th generation, Schmitt Sohne is one of Germany’s largest and most successful wine exporters to wine drinkers all over the world.
