Murphy's Law Riesling 2012

Murphy's 2012 Riesling is abundant with aromatics of peach, melon, citrus and kisses of chalk and slate terroir. The mouth-feel is crisp and driven by noticeable acid that marries the fruit and terroir components and belies the residual sugar that gives excellent texture and a lengthy finish.

Murphy’s Law 2012 Riesling was harvested over several days, picking in early morning hours and brought directly to the winery and immediately pressed. Cold settled for 2 days, racked and inoculated with three yeasts: X15, Vin13 and 71B. The wine fermented for just under three weeks at approximately 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the desired balance of alcohol to residual sugar was reached the wine was chilled to 32 degrees to stop fermentation. A light sterile filtration was used prior to bottling.
