Milbrandt The Estates Viognier 2012
The 2012 Viognier comes from their Clifton and Talcott Vineyards planted on the Wahluke Slope. Smooth, luscious, and full-bodied, The Estates Viognier has pronounced floral perfume notes of apricot, honeysuckle, and ripe peaches. To be paired with pork, game (deer, venision), shellfish, spicy food, and poultry.
Eastern Washington may be remote, windswept and arid, but it's also one of the best places on earth to grow grapes. The Milbrandt family has worked this land for nearly six decades. Today, they farm their estate vinyards in the Columbia Valley using sustainable methods tailored to our unique terroir. They plant native cover crops to encourage beneficial wildlife and they farm each block independently to guarantee the character and authenticity of their wines.
