Maranuli Ojaleshi 2015
This semi-dry red wine is made from Ojaleshi grape variety cultivated in the mountainous region of Samagrelo in Western Georgia. A powerful, deep ruby color expresses an essence of ripe cherries and raspberries. Extremely sophisticated and elegant palate, with a delightful balance of fruitiness and tannic structure.
A wine is extremely deep-rooted in their national culture, as it symbolizes integrity and strength. They ensure that they maintain their traditions through care for Georgian grape varieties and Georgian wine history for next generations in the midst of Globalization. There are around 550 Georgian grape varieties in total out of which only 450 are accessible for plantation. They perceive the grape varieties as holy objects, due to our cultural attachment to a wine, as it helped our nation to overcome many hardships.
