Wine

This dry red wine was produced from a blend of Merlot grapes grown in the Upper Galilee. After fermentation, the wine underwent extended skin contact before being transferred to French Oak barrels for a maturation period of 14 months.

This wine is composed of 39% Shiraz, 19% Marselan, 14% Zinfandel, 11% Merlot, 8% Tempranillo, 5% Mourvedre & 4% Viognier, deriving from various regions in the Negev.

Produced by Carmel-Zvi Segal Bros. Ltd. (AKA Segal Winery) which has been owned by Barkan Winery since 2012.
The Merlot grape one of the "Noble" grapes is produced in our vineyards of the Galil.

Zion Winery Capital Merlot is a very impressive wine for its price. It is rich and intense and requires a long opening before drinking. When opened, a wealth of deep flavors are revealed with spices that continue well into the finish.

Dry red wine. The grapes were harvested from the oldest of the winery's plots. Aged for about 22 months in French oak barrels, most of them new. Characterized by an extremely high acidity level, allowing the wine to continue to age for years. The wine has an 'old world' substance, and is suitable for heavy meat meals.

A medium-bodied wine, with a cherry flavor and hints of caramel and smoke. The wine has a refreshing acidity, and is very pleasant and enjoyable to drink. The grapes arrived to the winery in the early morning after being mechanically harvested.

Due to its distinctiveness, aging will further enhance its taste. This Merlot was aged in new French oak barrels for 20 months. It is a deep red in color with aromas of fruit and coffee. It has intense fruit flavors and is beautifully balanced.

Mosaic is Shiloh's flagship. The wine has an opaque and dark-purple color. It has intense fruit aromas, along with black raspberry, roasted coffee beans, and a cacao bouquet.

Binyamina Reserve Merlot is crafted from premium Merlot grapes, originally from Bordeaux. The grapes come from two nearby regions. One is the Upper Galilee, mainly Kerem Ben Zimra, with basaltic and terra rossa soil over hard limestone, providing excellent root aeration.

The 2017 Yarden Merlot Allone Habashan Vineyard presents a fragrant blend of aromas featuring ripe red and black fruits, flowers, spice, tobacco, orange zest and chocolate. This attractive single-vineyard wine is full-bodied, flavorful and complex.

This Merlot displays an intense, deep red color with a brilliant hue. It features aromas of ripe black fruits, black cherries, and subtle hints of vanilla. On the palate, the wine offers a velvety texture and silky tannins, leading to a long, fruity finish.

Château Saint-Corbian Saint-Estèphe 2022 is a charming blend of Merlot and Cabernet from the picturesque village of Saint-Corbian within the Saint-Estèphe appellation.

This wine is unique to the winery, and is composed of 63% Merlot and 37% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It is bright Red, with flavors and aromas of strawberry, raspberry and citrus. Suitable as a dessert wine, serve very chilled.
