Quintarelli's 2014 Primofiore is, in a word, gorgeous… It is the youngest red wine, the “first flower” (translation of Primofiore) to be released by the estate each year, after only 12 months of ageing.
An unusual blend of the typical Valpolicella grapes, Corvina and Corvinone with the Bordeaux inspired Sassicaia blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
