Clos Beauregard 2011
Blend | France
Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Estate bottled by Societe Fermiere des Grands Crus de France (AKA Les Grands Chais de France). Located near Libourne, the Pomerol appellation is known for the famous Chateau Petrus, one of the rarest and most expensive wines in the world.
On the palate, Pomerol wines combine finesse and intensity with fleshiness and magnitude. Their soft texture, fleshiness, and velvety tannins mask a great stregth. These wines are opulent and sensual. They can be enjoyed young but deseve to be kept because they develop with age, bouquets of rare complexity and finesse. Serve with grilled red meat, stews, or cheeses.
