This is a character- ful wine, full and intense with perfect balance on the palate. Tannins are elegant and unmistakably terroir-driven. Serve with charcuterie, pork, beef, dishes in sauce and mature cheeses. Can be enjoyed now, or could be laid down for 5 - 7 years in a cellar, away from direct light.

Already in the 17th century, this property was recognized as one of the first three crus vineyards of Bourges. Since the acquisition of the Castel family in 1960, many renovations have been made and today both the castle cellars of aging . Its location in the heart of particularly fertile land and its permanent exhibition to the sun make it a blessed property of the Gods. Its exceptional topography allows a natural flow of drainage water into the creek Libarde, allowing a perfect water supply of the vine.
