Made with 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Gamay, 10% Cabernet Franc. This delicious small-production bottling was produced from vines gron on pink slate in southern Loire Valley. It was harvested by hand during several passes through the vines. Fruity, spicy, and vegetal aromas.
A gentle and persistent string of very delicate bubbles forms, exploding on the surface. It begins first with the aromas of fresh red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, cherry) combined with citrus fruit fragrances (grapefruit) that match perfectly with the lightly spiced notes of cinnamon and vanilla revealed once allowed to breathe.

The origin of Lot C-91 began in the fall of 1969 when Joe Heitz created this one-off cuvée, which was very normal in those days, as a more premium version of his already iconic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon bottling. Surviving periods of closure, the distillery has produced its distinctive single malt since 1947, only being completely modernized in 1996.
A product exclusively made in the Madeira region of Portugal, Madeira wine ranges from dry to sweet and can resemble a tawny port. It’s a very specific type of wine, and as a result there are far less Madeira finished bourbons versus other wine finished bourbons being produced.
This wine is a proprietary blend from the winemakers at Psagot, which means that the grapes will not be revealed but I'm guessing there is either some Syrah or Zinfandel due to the spicy nature of the wine.
