Booker Vineyard White 2016
Blend | California | United States
This is the only white that Booker produces. This wine ages on average for 12 months in a concrete tank or new and used French oak barrels. The goal with this wine each year is to create something that you haven’t tasted from a white before. They want this wine to be different, to surprise you, and if anything... to err on the funky side.
Booker Vineyard is located on Paso Robles' Westside, immediately joining the famous Stephan Vineyards that produce L'Aventure Wines. The high-density vineyard is mostly Rhone varietals planted on steep hillsides of calcareous shale. The name Booker comes from the two orphan brothers Claude and Dick Booker who had owned the land, as well as hundreds more acres on Paso's Westside.
