This lovely, bright and cheery Sauvignon Blanc proffers tantalizing aromas of grapefruit, pineapple and gooseberry, with hints of quince. Floral notes of lemongrass and acacia are balanced with lychee and wet stone.

Domaine Claude Riffault is located in Sury-en-Vaux, in the heart of the Sancerre appellation in the Loire Valley. The estate is managed by Stéphane Riffault , representative of the 4th generation. He trained in Burgundy and at Château Angélus in Bordeaux.
The 2022 AVETA Sauvignon Blanc offers fragrant aromas of grapefruit, lemongrass, citrus, lychee and orange blossom. The wine is bright and lively on the palate with a thirst-quenching acidity and pure flavors of mandarin orange and honeysuckle that lead to a lasting aftertaste.
Fruit is night harvested, when the temperatures are cool to minmise oxidation, making it easier to manage in the winery. After that, we tinker as little as possible, letting the vine and the flavor speak, gently guiding it through the course of the winemaking process.
