Domaine Claude Riffault is located in Sury-en-Vaux, in the heart of the Sancerre appellation in the Loire Valley. The estate is managed by Stéphane Riffault , representative of the 4th generation. He trained in Burgundy and at Château Angélus in Bordeaux.
As soon as he took over the operation, he began converting the vineyard to organic farming and undertook parcel work of the vineyard. Each place has its own geographical and geological characteristics, the grapes are vinified and matured separately.
Les Denisottes is made from Sauvignon Blanc grown on a Kimmeridgian terroir of deep white earth. The wine is aged for 14 months in oak barrels of 228 to 600 liters.
