Lovely aromas of honeysuckle and peach blossom burst from the glass, followed by a hint of lime zest and baking spice. The palate has bright and juicy apricot, white peach, and golden pear fruit, along with candied citrus peel.
Merci 2020 exists thanks to two vignerons friends: Didier and Jeremy. This cuvée, conceived after a devastating frost destroyed 75% of our production in Spring 2021, is a blend of their finished wines from well worked terroirs similar to ours (granite, gneiss and gabbro). Exceptionally for this release, part of the blend was vinified with the addition of a selected yeast.
Made with 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Gamay, 10% Cabernet Franc. This delicious small-production bottling was produced from vines gron on pink slate in southern Loire Valley. It was harvested by hand during several passes through the vines. Fruity, spicy, and vegetal aromas.
For many insiders, the argument over Vouvray’s greatest vineyard comes down to two sites: Le Mont and Clos du Bourg. Undisputably a grand cru vineyard, Le Mont enjoys a choice site on the Première Côte.
A Loire Valley white wine from the Saumur area that's made entirely from the local Chenin Blanc grape. At the helm of the estate is Fredrik Filliatreau, a 4th generation winemaker who has come out with this latest wine named after his Swedish mum, Lena. Dry, vibrant and delicious.
Remarkably aromatic with pretty white flower and fruit fragrances. On the palate it reveals a freshness that is pure and clean. Notes of citrus, apple and gooseberry with hints of passion fruit are found in this lively and bright wine. An incredible value.
