The original Huet vineyard is nearly 9 hA. It has the richest soils of the domaine’s three crus—a deep limestone-clay—and the wines are generally the estate’s most approachable.
Ingredients: Chardonnay grapes, fresh ginger. No added sulphur.
Tasting Notes: Nose: Tropical with Banana, floral, lychee, red apple, soft and warm feeling. Palate: Orange and underripe pineapple, kiwi, bright but also was a fresh cream texture. Lactic and tangy.
More limestone in the soil compared to Charmois. Native yeast fermentation in stainless steel. Aged in French oak barrels for 24 months, less than 15% new. 30-45 g/L sulfur added at bottling. Corpulent, lemon curd with zippy acidity.
Made from 100% Rkatsiteli grape, this wine is bright and golden in colour. Aromas of peach and apricot fruits underlined with a smoky tone reminiscent of crème brûlée. Fruity, buttery with a long, refreshing finish.
The ancient Georgian word "Gemieri" is translated as "tasty". A hand-picked variation of carefully selected and ripe grapes from the microzones Sviri in Imereti and Tsinandali in Kakheti. After separating from the stems, the berries are cooled to 4-6 ° C and pressed with controlled pressure. The fermentation takes place in a stainless steel tank at the optimum temperature. After fermentation is complete, the wine is poured into another stainless steel tank for further refinement.
Lovely pear, red apple, stone fruit, lemon zest, along with hints of spice and floral notes. The palate has really good concentration, but remains vibrant and juicy with great balance and tension.
