Armagnac is the oldest brandy (and liquor) recorded to be still distilled in the world. Markovic Estates keeps this tradition alive by sourcing the finest grapes from the Armagnac region in Gascony, southwest France.
Made from a selection of 100% Tinto Fino vines (local name for the Tempranillo grape) from some of the oldest vines, age ranging from 25 – 75 years. Maceration during 28 days with the skins.
The first impression of the luxurious "Yarden Rom" with a hint of its inspiring aroma points to richness. The "Yarden Rome" delicately and finely structured spoils the nose with characters of ripe red and black fruits.
Flavors of raisin bread dough, nut skin and oil, and brown sugar. Brisk caramel cream, honeyed dried fruits, touch of pepper and honeydew, and balsa finish. Its harmonious blend delivers a smooth, warming sensation that lingers pleasantly on the palate.
This Carmenere is sourced from two section of Invina Batuco vineyard in the Maule Valley of Chile. The Carmenere grape with black fruit, herbal notes and soft tannins is blended with Cabernet Sauvignon to add a spicy red fruit characteristic, and Syrah to include notes of red licorice.
As soon as you pour out a generous flute of this bubbly you’ll notice the fine bubbles and vibrant aromas of ripe berries, lemon zest and ripe apples. The first sip showcases a rich mousse and uplifting lemon and white peach flavours punctuated with hints of pastries and toast.
