This wine opens generously with layered aromas of black cherry, plum and currant, roasted coffee, unsweetened cacao, crushed violets, vanilla and nutmeg. Driven by energetic acidity, the palate is tied together by firm tannins, also integrating a glycerin-like, rounded body from the alcohol.

The harvest for the Langhe Nebbiolo DOC Schiavenza is carried out manually between the second half of September and the first of October. Barkan Reserve Chardonnay is from the Barkan Winery, the second largest in Israel. It was founded in 1990, and its head winemaker is Ed Salzberg. The winery moved to Kibbutz Hulda near Rehovot in 2000.

The Serra Pedace vineyard is a high-elevation site that was named after ancestors Frank and Rose Leonetti’s hometown in Calabria, Italy. The 2018 offers anise, tar and black licorice notes combined with suggestions of black cherry syrup on the nose.

Old Overholt 4-Year Old is bottled NCF (Non-Chill Filtered) at 86 proof (43% ABV).
The Calling 2021 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon is deep plum red in color with vibrant hues. The aroma is rich and complex with layers of ripe blackberry fruit, mocha, and warm vanilla spice with subtle hints of nutmeg. The flavors are bold with notes of cherry pie, coffee and a rich warm and spicy oak finish.
