This golden-hued tawny offers pure aromas and sweet flavors of ripe, black fruit and light butterscotch with a silky texture and subtle oak notes. Excellent with dried fruit and nuts. Made to be enjoyed immediately, without further aging.
This Port has a chance to age. It has the opulent character of a Fonseca Port, enhanced by the fine vintage. Rich and full in the mouth, the wine's stewed blackberry and sweet plum flavors, both underlined by tannins, are sure to age well.
This 50-year-old Tawny was sourced in the eastern reaches of the Douro Valley, location of many of the finest vineyard estates and traditional source of the most long-lasting wines. Prior to blending, the individual wines were aged in Taylor’s cellars in seasoned oak casks specially selected and set aside by the firm’s team of expert coopers.
