The 2020 Great Sage is crafted from small lots of Cabernet Sauvignon from mountain and hillside vineyards in Northern Napa Valley. Whole berry fermented, cave-aged in 100% French Oak for two years, this wine is bottled unfiltered to retain its natural character.

Tom Hinde focuses this wine on the Morisoli Vineyard, a prime benchland site in Rutherford. The 2018 starts out clean and rich, with sweet black raspberry flavors and bold strokes of oak.
Bright cherry, raspberry and strawberry notes greet the nose, along with fresh rose petals, baking spices and hints of earth. Bright acidity on the entrance combines with the showy red fruit and flavors of forest floor, rhubarb, sage and toast on the palate.
This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Maule region of Chile. The nose shows plum, cassis, leather, and dusty earth with light dried rose petals. On the palate the wine has smooth, soft tannins that wrap around the dark fruit core and a light finish.
