Hand harvested, 90% whole cluster, natural yeast fermentation in amphorae and small fermentation bins. 6 months in neutral 500L French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
The Frida Kahlo Single Vineyard Red Blend has an intense dark purple color. The nose is rich and very honest to the varieties showing ripe berries, sweet spices and tobacco. Silky tannins give a soft and almost sweet mouthfeel, balanced with a concentrated palate.
Garnet red. On the nose there are scents of cherries, wild strawberries, caramel. Fresh and well balanced, good length on the palate. The grapes are handpicked, sorted and transported to the winery in small containers to avoid crushing berries and premature oxidation.
