Intrigu is only aged in stainless steel for 6 months, followed by 3 months in bottle, which allows for a transparent presentation of the grape. On the nose there are aromas of balsamic, clove, violets, and black pepper. On the palate, the wine is filled with notes of darker black and red fruits, tobacco leaves and a touch of clove. The tannins are gentle and leave a mouth coating finish.
Deep colored. Ripe and peppery on the nose. Full and fleshy on the palate. Earthy fruits balanced with nice acidity and a medium length on the finish.
